Providing transformational healing through the facilitation of female gatherings in the form of circles, retreats and one on one counseling. Married for almost 33 years with 3 adult children, life has been filled with much happiness and much hardship. The lessons learned surviving challenging moments have been the most valuable and most soul strengthening. They have also provided contrast to those light filled moments which now felt even more of joyful and full of positivity Looking back over our 33 years together as a couple and then family, I can quickly established all that I have have experienced - love, marriage, babies, business successes and failures, work travel, pleasure travel, family travel, illness, despair, survival, relief, university graduations, empty nest, death of grandparents, starting over and finding passion again. In other words I have seen, done and felt what it means to be human. And it was during a dark period 6 years ago after our move from Canada to the United States - Los Angeles - that I truly found my calling in life. It was a time without direction and I felt such sadness and despair. And though feeling untethered and floundering I was driven to discover grounding and steadfastness. And further I was determined to unearth and establish a comforting community because following our move I had none. From that darkness a light was truly born. I established The All-Mother with an aim to fill the void felt by women as they age, change and transform. The old adage “we are all spiritual beings having human experiences” really is true. Tapping into this sensibility allowed me to formulate spiritual gatherings amongst women that offered sharing and listening as a means of strengthening our resolve as strong, capable individuals. It is through our new found camaraderie, learning and support that we can continue to each find our way in this ever changing world. We faced the long term care, decline and deaths of our parents. We experienced and continue to endure ongoing fear and anxiety as my husband faces multiple health challenges - depression, alcoholism, cancer and amputation. Transitioning to an empty nest as our three adult children forged lives of their own has led to more domestic adjustment and transformation. At present, given the restrictions of COVID-19, retreats have been held over a two day period every few months at the beach in Venice, CA. with participants returning to their homes at the end of each day. Events and Sessions may be stand alone or may be part of a retreat.
